Abstract: 

Purpose: The future of the construction industry is increasingly influenced by new technologies. In order to adopt appropriate strategies in facing new technologies, it is necessary to know the possible futures of the construction industry. This RESEARCH was done with the aim of explaining the TECHNOLOGICAL uncertainties and compiling the future scenarios of the construction industry.  Method: The RESEARCH method is applied and was carried out with a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. First, the library study was used to determine the TECHNOLOGICAL drivers, then the Structural Analysis was used to explain the TECHNOLOGICAL uncertainties, and finally, the Schwartz method was used to compile the scenarios. The statistical population is experts of construction industry. FINDINGS: Nine TECHNOLOGICAL uncertainties affecting the future of the construction industry have been identified and for each of them, three states of decline, stagnation and progress have been considered. Data analysis by Scenario Wizard shows eight probable scenarios. The portfolio of scenarios including four groups of progress scenarios, towards progress, towards stagnation, and towards wane has been compiled. Conclusion: In the progress scenario, the 89% of uncertainties have developed. In  towards progress, 56% of the factors are in the development status, which indicates the development of the TECHNOLOGICAL factor application. In the stagnation scenario, no progress has been made in the application of uncertainties and they are in a static state. In towards wane, uncertainties have been placed in a situation of reduced use.

Abstract: 

RTOs' missions are for technology development and carry out complicated commercialization processes. Commercialization of TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH FINDINGS is so costly for RTOs that they can not carry out commercialization process by themselves. In the other hand, industries which are in competitive environment, for sustainable growth require superior new products and technologies which enable them in competitive scope. Industries often have frequent financial and human resources and this leads to their advantage to commercialization process, because those assets provide possibility for adapting huge risk. The lost ring in this chain is the link between RTOs as the developer of technology and industries as the adapter of technology. Entrepreneurship could solve this problem by providing this lost ring and linking RTOs and industries. Corporate entrepreneurship is one of the entrepreneurship types and is defined as some entrepreneurship among the available corporate companies. Entrepreneurship looks for introducing new products and organizational systems in the scope of corporate. Entrepreneurship has five different kinds and each of them carries out entrepreneurship in its own style. Among these, Acquisitive and Opportunistic entrepreneurship have the highest fitness to enrich and enhance coexisting relation between industries and RTOs to commercialize TECHNOLOGICAL FINDINGS.

Abstract: 

Purpose: The present study aims to identify and explain the futures of Iranian provinces in the competition for the development of NBIC TECHNOLOGICAL convergence (synergy between nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology and cognitive sciences) with a focus on Yazd province. Method: This RESEARCH, which has been conducted with a qualitative and descriptive approach, is classified as an exploratory futures-study. In this way, the relevant RESEARCH records were first reviewed to compile a list of drivers in the development of convergent technologies. The list was then refined and prioritized to identify two key drivers, with the Delphi process attended by fourteen experts. By intersecting the uncertainties of these two drivers, four scenarios of the province's future in TECHNOLOGICAL convergence competition emerged. FINDINGS: The two key drivers affecting the success of the province in the competition for convergent technologies are: the rate of development of the innovation ecosystem and the amount of financial resources allocated to this process. Based on this, four scenarios of the future situation of the province in this field were identified, which have been named as "Vanguard", "Buyer", "Remnant" and "Hired". Conclusion: In order for the provinces to be able to succeed in the forthcoming competitions in the production and operation of convergent technologies, it is necessary to plan for strengthening the ecosystem infrastructure from now; at the same time, it is necessary to make efficient efforts to provide sufficient financial resources for the RESEARCH and commercialization of these technologies.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of this RESEARCH was to investigate the role of TECHNOLOGICAL literacy in the to investigate the role of TECHNOLOGICAL literacy in the entrepreneurial intention in engineer students. This RESEARCH was done with mixed method approach and with exploratory design. In qualitative phase of RESEARCH 15 Entrepreneur engineer students were selected based on criteria oriented sampling and participated on semi structured interview and data were analyzed by seven keluize stages. Interview questions were designed around the dimensions of technology literacy and its relationship with entrepreneurship. To ensure the validity of the questions, the opinions of seven experts were used. To ensure the quality of data analysis, the FINDINGS were referred back to the interviewees after re-analysis to avoid possible deviations. FINDINGS from the interviews indicated that technology entrepreneurs have a deep understanding of the nature, design, production, application and relationship of technology to society. In order to developing data based on stratified random sampling. 200 last semester engineer students were selected. Seraji and khavari(2015) TECHNOLOGICAL literacy questioner and (2009) Liñ á n & Chen (2009) Entrepreneurial intention questioner with appropriate reliability were used for data gathering. The data were analyzed using pearson correlation and multiple regression. FINDINGS indicted that entrepreneur engineer students have a appropriate understanding of the relevance of TECHNOLOGICAL literacy and entrepreneurship. There is a correlation between students' TECHNOLOGICAL literacy and the entrepreneurial intention in engineer students. The regression results showed that between dimensions of TECHNOLOGICAL literacy, understanding nature of technology and relevance of technologies with the world around can explain 19/7 present of the variance of change in entrepreneurial intention in engineer students. In order to develop the entrepreneurial competencies in students, we propose to develop students’ TECHNOLOGICAL skill in design and implementation of curriculum stages.

Abstract: 

Purpose: Food security is a critical global challenge that is influenced by RESEARCH and innovation in the field. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the scientific output of developing countries in food security and examine its relationship with patents and Gross Domestic Product (GDP).Methodology: This applied RESEARCH utilized the Scientometric approach. A total of 8,416 papers published between 1992-2023 in the field of food security by developing countries were included in the study using citation databases from Clarivate Analytics. Additionally, patent registrations from the WIPO database and GDP data from the World Bank were analyzed. Information was collected through note-taking, and the data was analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient.FINDINGS: The FINDINGS reveal an upward trend in the publication and citation of scientific outputs related to food security in developing countries. China has higher numbers of papers, patents, GDP, and food production index compared to Iran, Japan, and South Korea. There is also a positive correlation observed between population and the number of papers, gross production and the number of papers, food production and the number of published papers, as well as the number of patents and papers citing scientific outputs of countries.Conclusion: These results highlight the significant relationship between increasing scientific output, GDP, the number of patents, and food security. Greater emphasis on food security contributes to enhanced scientific output, GDP, and innovation. Similarly, increasing scientific output, GDP, and innovation positively impact food security in countries.Value: This study emphasizes the importance of scientific outputs in driving TECHNOLOGICAL advancements, innovations, and ultimately, ensuring food security in developing countries.

Abstract: 

Background and Objectives: Scientometric RESEARCH, with its capacity to evaluate scientific RESEARCH and use multiple indicators to explain the potentials and the scientific and TECHNOLOGICAL performance in various dimensions, has gained popularity amongst RESEARCHers. This field of inquiry is employed in various studies with the main objective of quantitative examination of a wide range of scientific data. This study aims at a scientometric study in the journal of Computer and Education whose main objective is to map out the topics of the articles and present the upcoming RESEARCH paths. The purpose of selecting this journal is to address the latest RESEARCH in one of the most specialized journals in the field of educational technology.Methods:In terms of method, this study is categorized in the generality of meta-nalysis method and among applied studies which has been carried out in using the method of scientometric and bibliographic RESEARCH studies. . In this RESEARCH, library study methods have been used to study the theoretical literature and collect RESEARCHdata. The analysis unit included all articles published in the Journal of Computers & Education between 2010-2021 and the source of data collection was the Scopus citation database and search for articles by means of the journal title. The search results included 2597 articles. A set of scientometric methods and tools have been used to provide a suiatble analysis and interpretion of the results.FINDINGS: Based on the results, 2597 articles were written by 5928 authors among which the highest number of these articles was written by one author and the average collaboration index for authors was 2.5. The United States, Taiwan, and Spain had the most scientific output, and among the authors, Huang, Chen, and Thassi had the highest number of scholarly articles. This issue highlights the important role and influence of these authors in the journal. A systematic literature review of empirical evidence on computer games and serious games was identified as the most important article and the focus of the RESEARCH in this journal is more related to learning.Conclusion: In general, the most significant topics in computer and education journals is the use of digital technologies in the field of distance education and learning. The analysis of the RESEARCH FINDINGS showed that the articles published in the Computer and Education Journal are diversely distributed in different scientific subjects and a broad interest from a variety of RESEARCH perspectives can be noted. Also, the analysis of keywords for the studied articles showed four thematic developments for journal RESEARCH in areas, such as e-learning, improving learning or teaching methods, developing educational approaches and the application of digital technologies in learning. The FINDINGS in the current study can provide some directions for future RESEARCH on TECHNOLOGICAL learning. It is suggested that future studies examine which pedagogical issues are the most relevant to the RESEARCH community through meta-analysis to find how to integrate specific TECHNOLOGICAL tools to aid teaching and learning activities. In addition, how interactive e-learning environments are designed to better meet learners' needs can be explored through further design-based RESEARCH. In particular, what kind of technology tools can provide better academic performance and learning in educational or student-centered learning environments can be further explored

Abstract: 

In occupational and environmental health RESEARCH, individual, group and community RESEARCH participants have a unique and vested interest in the RESEARCH FINDINGS. The ethical principles of autonomy, non-maleficence and beneficence are helpful in considering the ethical issues in the disclosure of RESEARCH FINDINGS in occupational and environmental health RESEARCH. RESEARCHers need to include stakeholders, such as groups and communities, in these discussions and in planning for the dissemination of RESEARCH FINDINGS. These discussions need to occur early in the RESEARCH process.

Abstract: 

Purpose: Clustering and co-word analysis is a method to reveal relationships and links and illustrate the intellectual structure of a scientific field. This RESEARCH tries to study the intellectual structure of articles in the field of futures studies in Iran by using the technique of co-word analysis. Method: The current RESEARCH is a descriptive-analytical development with a scientometric approach. The statistical population is 921 articles retrieved records in the field of futures studies. FINDINGS: The FINDINGS showed that articles in the field of futures studies in Iran are often associated with positive growth, and in terms of frequency, the keywords scenario, Islamic Republic, and foresight are the most frequent in futures studies. The FINDINGS related to the hierarchical clustering led to the formation of 8 clusters in this field, namely "ICT visions", "geographers who love the future", "knowledge development", " Futuristic higher education", "Future of Religion", "Regional Relations", "Strategic Foresight" and "Heavy Weight of Method". Conclusion: According to the FINDINGS of the current RESEARCH and the high frequency of the keyword scenario, as well as the density and relationships of this keyword with other keywords, it can be concluded that the scenario is the dominant approach in futures studies. Also, according to the resulting clusters, it was observed that these RESEARCHes have a high variety, but addressing the future in many areas is still neglected.
